Never bothered going to the now 'in'famous bar! My friend in berlin also tells me no one else goes unless you've been reading too many history books and just come over on the banana boat.

A lovely little place, bit like a theatre bar with eclectic styling - check out the foyer to the toilets. Overly heavy on the chillout music - place suits Liza. No-one drinking there unfortunately when I visited, but the barman was the friendliest in town.

I just didn't get this place. Large, modern bar with small cruising area at rear. Large toilet area would seem to set itself up for piss parties!Neither my ass nor my elbow as they say up North!

Desperado central. Odd traditional style bar with seedy cruising area downstairs - you'd definitely pick up something here, but it would stay with you a while afterwards!! Mixed crowd.

THE BEST gay bar in Berlin. The locals local! Large, smart and sociable. Industrial meets contemporary in style with bare brickwork, avant garde pictures on large canvases and a central well bar with a 'catwalk' behind and down to the toilets. Outside seating and benches at the entrance where you can watch the world and his boyfriend go by.

My favoutrite cruise bar in the Schoneberg district, though one that only opens on Wednesdays, fridays 7 Saturdays. During my stay in May 2012 the nightlife was fairly quiet in general. Unfortunately for Mutschmanns they have introduced pay 13 euros/all drinks included on a friday. This has not worked and the place was nearly empty (and getting worse by the week according to my man in Berlin) The barman/coat check girl also seems more keen on providing bottled beer as opposed to spirits aswell. For a bar supposedly with a strict dresscode I may aswell have not bothered with full leather on any night. However, the bar is set up right with a great cruising area downstairs. It's your luck/pick as to how well you perform! One note: as a tourist it quickly becomes obvious that Berliners like to play with their own whenever possible!

The ultimate sleaze/cruise club. Located in the Berghain complex and slightly difficult to initially find, the Lab has various theme nights/days. Normally attracting a mixed crowd of between 200 - 400 horny guys, it's a bit hit & miss to your success ratio on any given occasion. Less attitude gives the 'tourists' more of a chance here than central Berlin. Visited in May 2012 for 'athletic' sunday. Doors open at 4 pm and close at 6pm, but it's definitely thinning out by 6.30pm. dress theme seemed quite loose and i'd go with the less is more principle ie: jock strap as opposed to full kit. Industrial style extends across various areas and the size is just about right, though with few private areas/lock ups. Condoms and lube are available in numerous dispensers.

What a disgusting place!Bar staff OK, but this guy at the cloakroom should be sucked immediately.Had to wait till 1am as they open darkroom. Until then I had to inhale cigarettes fumes for 2 hours, because there was no door to smoking area.Finally famous darkrooms - NO doors in the cabins , few dark corners ( where all people gathered , was completely pitch - black ), and of course people were smoking even there. Worst place I've ever been to, ugly, old people, or other shady characters wandering around. Don't go there, there are other places in Berlin worth visit.

I was there one week ago (Easter Time). I was overwhelmed by the cleanliness and quality of the place. I it briliantly designed, with attention for any detail. My intention was to go there for a cruise, but I chose to enjoy the finish sauna, the steam sauna, the pool, the bar and the relaxation area. I had a great time. Oh, and a good fuck too.

Yo fui a Lab-Oratory el viernes en la noche, es el mejor sex club que yo e visitado.
