Apollo Sauna at Brasil

I first found this sauna and quite good. this city has historically been the most free in europe and the world. now a neo puritanism back strong to dominate. a place like this always reminds us that the world is conservative. enjoy it.

Just have visited this sauna. Well, if you have no place to have sex or you prefer not to invite the unfamiliar partner to your place, this sauna is good: you get private cabin etc. But actually you can get the same conveniences cheaper in any other sauna. The visitors... This is not the fault of the owners, of course, but two categories prevail: old fat men (no offence, but stop drinking beer too much, men!) and arrogant creatures of unclear age, who consider themselves being super-stars, because they are not fat...yet. Price is inadequate.

Was there during Hustlaball WE on the Extacy party. Unfortually no one danced. New ground floor which looks great, downstairs it's still the same as last year. What I miss in this sauna if you do not rent a cabin is papertowels, lube, condoms available when you are cruising in the Jungle, also no rubbishbins to dump you used stuff. Crowd was a good mix. Due to the renting out of cabins there was not much cruising around. Only used the sauna etc on the groundfloor. This time we had some real foam as last year there was little to none.

I went there last night some rent bys were there, and some crowd 40 - onwards not very impressed. Half way to refurbishing the place.

My last visit to Apollo was in April, 2011. They are still working on renovations, and the bathroom area is looking very nice. The new owner does seem like he is trying to make some much needed changes to the place, like implementing lower entry fees on Tuesdays, and the 3 euro minimum for drinks doesn't seem to be in affect anymore so that is great.

There are still prostitutes. Which i have no problem with, sex workers need to make a living too but please be upfront that besides offering food&drinks, massages (normal and erotic) you also provide escorts. By making this simple change in their policy would bring about better good will with customers. Also if you are going to provide escorts make them more attractive. There are few really sexy, desireable escorts at Apollo and that is a major disappointment. The ones that approached me were short, squat with plucked eyebrows and horrible bodies.They were entertaining, but i didn't come to a sauna for a girlish hen party. I don't mind paying for sex, but I want to get top bang for my cash.
The staff at Apollo has gotten better and are friendlier. Which counts alot for us American visitors. The staff seem to be really putting in the effort, but keep in mind that Berlin is a city that is not known for its high quality customer service. Berliners are a bit harsh. I think the major problem is expectations. Young gays as a whole do not frequent saunas, sex clubs or gay bars anymore. They do all their searching for sex and relationships via the internet, so the only ones who really still go to these places are middle aged men, like myself who get disappointed when we don't see any youthful beauties running about and only men are own age who we may not be attracted to. We tend to expect too much. I enjoy a sauna for what it is. A place to see men running around in towels and when the weather is cold you can relax in a warm environment. I have on occasion scored with attractive young men at Apollo, but I don't expect that to happen every visit. I accept Apollo for what it is. That doesn't mean they can't improve. Gay saunas need to find new ways of bringing in customers and making really big changes if they want to stay in business. Look what happened to Steam Sauna which use to be down the street from Apollo.

Have been to many saunas and Apollo is in the bottom of the legaue. Very pricy entrance and if you like a cabin they are extra (no free cabins at all)as are a second tovel! Except for the hustlers (good looking thou) very booring even on a public holiday. Clean but worn (undergoing renovation at the moment).

I know you hate Apollo Club Brasil and you are writing bad reviews with many other names on many other (gay) websites. You are always writing basically the same. ;-)

You are right concerning hustlers in the formerly Apollo Club Brasil.

What you don't know is following:
The former boss Frank left Berlin in August (or September). He sold the sauna to a new owner (also manager of the famous Centro Delfino), who I know very well. He at once threw out all hustlers and even some of the staff. He is now refurbishing the sauna, which has also a new website since October.

I can understand that you hate the (former) Sauna Club Brazil management, but you should search the concerning person/management in Brazil, South America, and not damage somebody's reputation (new management) by spamming websites with out-of-date reviews with several fake names.

Uncared and dangerous place.Lot's of Soth american and romanian escort's boys there.They annoy you if don't pay them for sex.Most of them have copies of the keys to the lockers and steal the things you leave there.Drugs are commonplace in there to use and posibility to buy .The owner of the sauna over to help and care for customers care about most of the boys because heve free sex with them.In my stay in Berlin I was there 3 days and in 2 cases, the police came for different complaints, one theft and other theft and agresion.The truth is a disreputable site in which of course will not return. DISAPPOINTMENT!!! There were at most 10 people above 50 y/o on a Saturday night. It's not a good one, dirty and boring atmosphere. Staff is not friendly.

Quite clean and very busy, I went there a few times in 2007 and it was fantastic. Maybe the standard has dropped now? I found lots of hot guys and horse cocks!

ONE BIG DISSEPOINTMENT, This is te most dirty sauna of the world, not clean, smelss and no soap, i could write my name on the floor so dirty it was. The people insite are scarry or hookers and that for a total cost of 17,00 euro, if you don;t drink you pay 3 euro extra if you leave this dissepointment. There is one wet, one dry and a bubblebad, and 80 rooms, that you can rent, to get allong with guy you bought. Better go to a reall sauna.

Very big facility with many private rooms available, which however were mainly empty (on a Friday evening in August). No attractive people according to my standards, but maybe it was just a bad day. You are required to consume at least 3 Euros of drinks and the entrance price is not cheap- even as a student 12 Euros, I think. Also not very clean and the actual sauna and steam area very small. I bet other Saunas in Berlin are nicer.

Tourist trap. Mainly prostitutes and their sad clients there. Berlin gays avoid this place. The amenities are good but the sauna is quite empty even on Sun afternoon. May be some uniformed tourists during big events in Berlin can be trapt there.
