Gate Sauna

if you are into old and fat guys, then this is a place for you. The crowd ranges from age 50's and up. Not my cup of tea so after I left after 30 mins. Waste of time, effort, and money. Not to mention the place is filthy! it smells horrible! Clean the place for pete's sake!

Went there last week. It was a tuesday, I had a good time there. The crowd was bears, cubs but also a few slim/athletic guys.
Good facilities, The steam room is where most of the action was.

If you ever wondered there Antarctica white bears disappeared to – the mystery can be resolved at Gate Sauna. It is centrally located in Berlin however one still you may have a difficulty to find the place.
In my eyes, nothing special about this place – medium size, two floors, a Jacuzzi, dark rooms, wet sauna, dry sauna, showers, lockers, and small private rooms. Typical gay sauna you would expect anywhere.
I went there on the eve of January 2nd, 2011, the admission was 15 Euro (the cheapest sauna in Berlin). The public: around 75% of the patrons were over 50 years old, and around 75% overweight; 95% white, no blacks. And yes, the place was crowded mostly by locals.
If you are into bears it is definitely your place. I saw there such specimen!

I don't know about the bears, i went saturday night from 10pm 1am and if there were more than 10 people in the whole sauna I didn't see them. The few men there were older (50's +) The front person was very nasty and tried to charge me for something I didn't drink, dishonest. I believe he thought because I was american and I couldn't speak german he was going to get away with it.
Not worth the money, better go to any cruising bar, there's more action

Small but nice sauna for meeting other bears. If you're after men with facial fur, this is the right place to be.
